P.F. Chang’s - Los Angeles: A Mixed Bag of Asian Cuisine at LAX

P.F. Chang’s - Los Angeles, located within LAX, offers an unexpected experience in a vibrant airport setting. While some reviews highlight the friendly service from staff like Mary and Gilbert, others criticize the inconsistency in food quality and presentation. Diners have noted dishes such as pad thai and Mongolian beef, with opinions varying on taste and value. Despite the high prices, guests can appreciate the attractive ambiance and, for some, the mesmerizing airport views. Overall, this outpost captures the essence of the P.F. P.F. Chang’s - Los Angeles: Reviews & Ratings

Food was decent, pad thai is better than the Singapore street noodles (pictured) - 1 star for serving my food on a chipped plate (usually wouldn’t mind, but if I’m spending $20+ per plate, it better not be damaged). - 1 more star for having to wait 5+ min for my wife to get her food after mine arrived. Servers were nice and atmosphere is good. I’m indifferent on the 20% service charge, but they at least have a sign at the front so you know before you decide to eat there.

Mary was so awesome and sweet! She was super accommodating and very attentive. Also made the best mojito I’ve ever had!

Taste was a little different than at a usual PF Changs. Food was kind of mid at best. Prices were very expensive, given that it is an airport.

Mary is the nicest bartender ever she deserves a raise. Gilbert has the best personality and he also deserves a raise. 5 star customer service.

I like PF Chang's on the High Street, but this one inside LAX is a real disappointment Firstly the Service is hit-n-miss, some staff are great, some less so, when your Server just 'throws' your food onto the Table, it isn't good (even more frustrating when they auto-add 20% Service charge and say "you can add more if you like" ) The food wasn't great either, I ordered Mongolian Beef with Fried Rice, both looked like they'd just been 'dumped' on the plates, it wasn't very hot and some bits of the Beef wasn't even cooked properly The view from the Restaurant is about the only good thing. Price wise I thought it was expensive for what I got, I paid $53 for Mongolian Beef + Fried Rice and a Glass of Coke I won't be going back there in a hurry

Welcome to P.F. Chang’s - Los Angeles, where the vibrant essence of Asian-inspired cuisine meets the bustling atmosphere of LAX. Located at 1 World Wy, Los Angeles, CA 90045, this venue promises a unique dining experience amidst the chaos of travel. With an array of dishes that reflect the rich culinary traditions of Asia, P.F. Chang’s aims to serve both travelers and locals with mouthwatering flavors.

Upon stepping into this restaurant, you’ll find an inviting atmosphere complete with warm decor and friendly staff eager to elevate your dining experience. Highlights from the menu feature iconic selections such as Pad Thai and Mongolian Beef, though opinions on their execution can vary greatly. A recent review from Peyton Graham shared mixed feelings, noting that while the flavors were decent, the presentation left much to be desired, particularly when served on a chipped plate—a disappointing detail at higher price points.

On a more positive note, many patrons sing praises for the staff, especially Mary, whose attentive service and stellar mojitos made quite an impression. Such personal interactions create a connection to the experience that mere food reviews can’t capture. However, customer reviews also highlight inconsistencies in food quality and service, which may raise some eyebrows, especially given the automatic 20% service charge.

The view from the restaurant is indeed spectacular, potentially the only consistent highlight amidst the fluctuating food quality described by diners. Although the prices may be higher due to its airport location, guests expect excellence in every aspect of their meals.

In conclusion, P.F. Chang’s - Los Angeles presents a mixed bag of culinary experiences, shaped by its unique environment and the hustle of airport dining. This venue may not always hit the mark, but it remains a notable option for travelers seeking a taste of Asia in the heart of one of the busiest transportation hubs in the world.
